Our dishes are all about celebrating what's great about Lancashire's eats, served up fresh and full of flavour. Chris Bury, our head chef, and his team are all about keeping things seasonal, making sure every bite pops with the best of what's around. From day one, we've been all about connecting the dots from the field to your fork, making sure everything on your plate has a story. And while we love our British classics, don't be surprised to find some unexpected twists and a dash of French flair in the mix.
SUNDAY LUNCH
Here at the Cartford, Sunday’s are sacred. Each week we team up with the folks at Honeywell’s Farm Shop in Lancashire to bring you the choicest cuts. Roast beef is our go-to, but we like to mix things up with either roast ham or some seriously crispy pork (and yes, we’re talking about that amazing crackling). Why not go for a stroll along the River Wyre, then join us for a (posh) pub lunch afterwards?
